On December 5-6-7th 2018, the UN Commission of Narcotic Drugs (CND), the only United Nations body dealing with Cannabis policy, will receive the final scheduling recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) on cannabidiol (40th ECDD) and cannabis in all forms (41st ECDD). These recommendations will be presented to the 187 Member States at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Hempoint has sorted its harvest and shaped up its business-to-business offer for flowers from four hemp varieties it planted on 8 hectares (about 20 acres) in 2017. The flowers are for extraction, or to make tea or “nobacco,” the low-THC, high-CBD tobacco-like raw material that took off this year in Italy and Switzerland, and which is being sold in a variety of forms including rolled into cigarettes, said Hempoint CEO Hana Gabrielova. You will receive a 2h workshop Hemp and hand-picking harvest at the bio farm Sasov, which covers basic information about hemp, its content, health benefits, usage within industries, work in the field, etc. and it is free for our staff.
Accommodation is possible in facilities of nearby airport in Henčov. To reach the farm use the public transport.

Our team was out in full force this month for the annual Hempoint harvest from fields near our operations at Sasov Bio-Farm in the Czech Highlands. We harvest our hemp crops by hand from organic fields in cooperation with area farmer-partners, yielding organic hemp for seeds, fiber and flowers. See the Hempoint 2017 Harvest Report. Hempoint supplied seed for the historic planting of 60 acres on the Colville Reservation in Washington (USA) that will be harvested this autumn. The crop is among the first allowed under the state of Washington’s government controlled industrial hemp research pilot program and the first on tribal lands. The lands are under the 12 Confederated (native American) Tribes of the Colville’s program to increase revenue for tribal members and create jobs to replace those of a lagging timber industry.
